Apart from teaching and research, knowledge to policy transfer was an important aspect of AEUM, with many lectures, public seminars, and policymaking activities delivered by the members of the project team:Professor Milenković introduced new courses at the PhD level („Anthropology of science and higher education“ and „Research assessment“) open for students from all of the faculties at the University of Belgrade within multidisciplinary History and Philosophy of science program that stress the historical development and social functions of academic knowledge in Serbia in the context of international integrations, and European character of modernization of Serbia in general: https://www.bg.ac.rs/sr/studije/studije-uni/istor-filoz.php
Professors Sinani and Milenković in their capacity as president and executive board member of Serbian Ethnological and Anthropological Society (SEAS) advocated for more inclusive safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage of ethno-religious minorities, with more and more elements symbolic of minority cultures being included in the Register of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Serbia: http://www.nkns.rs/en/elementi-nkns
Professor Milenković gave several lectures on possibilities and obstacles to inclusive minority heritage safeguarding in Southwestern and Southeastern Serbia, explaining the ways for stakeholder inclusion and facilititating dialogue among minority representatives.
Professor Milenković conducted comparative fieldwork on politics of cultural heritage safeguarding in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
